The tour starts from Moshav Idan, down the Arava valley, through palm plantations and greenhouses along the Jordanian border, mostly on gravel roads, to Neot Ha-Kikar, near the Dead Sea.
From Neot Ha-Kikar we continue to the north-west and soon we are on the edge of the Judean Desert, on the Amiaz Plateau. From here, the tour descends in the gorge of Wadi Prazim, at the foot of the salt mountain Sodom and continue down to the Dead Sea. From here a short distance along the coast to the north, to the beach of Ein Boqek.
