Descending south from Tzuba, down to the “John the Baptist cave”, a baptizing site dated to the first century and associated with John the Baptist. A wall painting illustrating john the baptist, dated to the Byzantine era, endorses this assumption.
Down to the Soreq valley, through the Sataf nature resort, in which the ancient agricultural technique of channels irrigated terraces was preserved, a technique which was in use since biblical times (bathing possibility).
Up to the “Monastery of St. John in the Wilderness”, which celebrates the childhood wanderings of John the Baptist in this region. East to Ein Karem, Traditionally the birthplace of John the Baptist, including the “Church of the Visitation”, honors the visit paid by the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus, to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist and The “Church of St. John the Baptist”, where he was born.
